What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form: your name, your phone number, your e-mail address and your message. Nothing else. Reading these pages collects nothing about you.
When you press Send, the server also reads the IP address the request comes from. It uses it for one thing only, to notice that the same sender is repeating the same form within a minute, and it keeps it in memory for at most sixty seconds. It is never written to disk, never stored and never passed on.
Why, and on what legal basis
To read your message and answer it. That is the whole purpose.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. The sixty second check on the IP address rests on Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in not having the form abused.
We do not profile you, we do not turn your message into a mailing list, and we never sell or pass your data to anyone for their own marketing.
Who else sees it
Your message is sent through Google, which also hosts our mailbox, and there it stays for as long as we keep it. Google is a United States company, so your message leaves the European Union; the transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses of its data processing agreement.
The site itself is hosted by the provider named above, which handles the technical logs of every request the way any hosting provider does.
Nobody else. There is no analytics service, no advertising network and no third party script anywhere on this site.
How long we keep it
There is no database. Your message lives in our mailbox for as long as it takes to answer you, and for the time in which the conversation may reasonably resume.
If you want it gone sooner, write to us and it will be deleted.
Your rights
Over the data you gave us you can ask for:
- access, that is a copy of what we hold about you
- correction of anything wrong
- erasure
- restriction of what we do with it
- objection to a processing based on our legitimate interest
- portability, in a format you can take elsewhere
To exercise any of them, write to us. We answer within a month, and it costs you nothing. info@lilybyte.com
If you believe we handled your data badly, you can also complain to the supervisory authority: Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD)
Cookies
This site sets one cookie, and only if you pick a language yourself: NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers your choice for a year so your next visit opens in the right language. It stays in your browser, and nothing but this site ever reads it.
There is nothing else: no analytics, no third party cookies, no local storage, no tracking pixels. That is why you were never asked to accept anything. A strictly technical cookie does not require consent, and there is nothing else here to consent to.
Intellectual property
The texts, images, code and design of this site belong to LilyByte. The names and marks of the clients whose projects are shown belong to them, and appear here to describe work we did.
When this page changes
If what we do with your data changes, this page changes with it, and so does the date at the top.
